Architected and developed the portal using the Liferay framework. It featured a private community utilizing message boards, walls, polls and blogs customized to Amgen's needs.

This site was commissioned by the Amgen Foundation as a way for the scholars to maintain relationships throughout their program and ultimately their career.

The site is built on Liferay CMS using a Java technology stack. We chose Liferay for its wide social applications as well as its customization and flexibility.

Using custom content templates, themes, and structures all of the content on the site is easily managed behind the scenes, while still delivering a unique design to the user.
