Designed and developed the first 2009 supplement edition for The Scientist. Implemented a design heavily influenced by the print magazine and tailored to an online presence.

The supplement was developed mainly within XHTML/CSS. There were of handful of special features developed to help draw attention to specific content, such as the Flash scrolling banner and JavaScript alternative.

It also features a reworked page toolbar redesigned around the limitations of the existing bar.
